How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to:

  1. Authenticate your account - Your email or phone number is used to verify your identity
  2. Send daily reminders - Push notifications remind you to check in
  3. Send SMS alerts - If you miss a check-in, we notify your emergency contacts via SMS
  4. Improve the app - Anonymous, aggregated data helps us improve the service

What We DON'T Do

  • No tracking - We don't monitor your activity unless an SMS alert triggers
  • No selling data - Your information is never sold to third parties
  • No background monitoring - The app only runs when you open it or receive a reminder
  • No location tracking - We don't collect or store location data
  • No analytics tied to identity - Any analytics are completely anonymous

Data Storage

Your data is stored securely on Supabase servers with:

  • End-to-end encryption for sensitive data
  • Row-level security policies
  • Regular security audits

Data Retention

  • Your data is retained as long as your account is active
  • You can delete your account and all associated data at any time
  • Upon account deletion, all data is permanently removed within 30 days

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Supabase - Database and authentication
  • Twilio - SMS delivery for alerts
  • RevenueCat - In-app purchase management
  • Expo - Push notification delivery

Each of these services has their own privacy policies and data practices.
